We understand the challenges and opportunities of making an international move as well as the questions that arise when moving your child to an American Education system.

2016-2017 School Year Updates

  • For the 2016-2017 school year, we have open seats in Grades 1, 2 and 3. We still encourage applications for all grades, however, as we may have withdrawals before the end of the school year.

2017-2018 School Year Updates

  • Entrance age*: Children of age 3 years old and up by October 1, 2017 will be considered for KG1/Montessori. Please note that all children must be out of diapers to attend AST.
  • Children ages three to five may choose between a Montessori setting or a traditional classroom environment.
  • There will be two classes at grades 1, 2, 3, and 4, with a maximum class size of 20 students. There are currently 12-16 students per class at dual class grade levels,
  • Most classes for grades 5-12 are approximately 24 students.

* The age of acceptance by October 1st, 2017 is as follows:

  • Children 3 years old are qualified for KG1
  • Children 4 years old are qualified for KG2
  • Children 5 years old are qualified for KG3
  • Children 6 years old are qualified for G1
  • Children 7 years old are qualified for G2
  • Children 8 years old are qualified for G3 and so on so forth for the rest of the grade levels.

Applications are not considered until all documents have been submitted.
