The April 27th, 2011 Lower School Assembly was a special event as all LS
classes, KG1 - Grade 5, attended and we celebrated Earth Day. Songs
were sung about recycling, a poem was read about appreciating the earth,
a boat and lanterns were made from recycled plastic bottles,
birdfeeders were made from all natural products of the environment,
pinatas were made from paper mache in the shape of the earth and
painted, and student projects were presented. Each class contributed
and many families attended to share in this important event.
