1- IT Assistant

 

The American School of Tangier needs an experienced IT technician to assist with the development of more services for the school.  Specifically, the job will require the following:

Assist the IT Department as needed in providing service to employees and systems management.

Monitor Computer, printers, copiers, and fax machines to make sure they are working properly (Hardware & Software) and getting regular maintenance.   

Assist with network and security management 

Assist with data storage architecture      

Assist with procurement and implementation of new servers, technology, etc.   

Assist with systems development           

Provide user level technical support for end users, computers, printers,  etc.       

Assist with end user system updates and monitoring, including
 Spyware removal and testing, virus checking, ensuring backup of data files, etc.               

Assist with user management. (Adding and deleting users from AD, etc.)      

DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

·        Fluency in English

·        Experience with Microsoft products like Exchange, Active Directory, Server platforms.                   

·        Deal effectively and tactfully with upset end users.          

·        Apple product knowledge (Mac  OSX, iPad, iPhone).

·        Good troubleshooting skills using logic and common sense.

·        Must provide a high degree of professionalism and end user satisfaction and work well with others.

2- Nurse

The American School of Tangier is searching for a full-time nurse. The successful candidate should be a qualified nurse with a minimum of 2 years experience who enjoys working with young people. Responsibilities will include first aid care for pupils and staff, administration of medication, and support of the P.E. Department during sport activities.

The candidate should speak Arabic, French and preferably English
